I was trolling through Twitter today enjoying the latest batch of anti Zionist memes when I happened upon this quote tweet:
David Baddiel is a Jewish comedian who is set to premiere a film called My Father’s Secret at a Jewish film festival in London this month. He was interviewed in an article from Sky News speaking out about the recent wave of anti Jewish sentiment from the foreigners that his co-ethnics insisted belonged in the country he calls home. Here is an excerpt from the article wherein David describes his reluctance to take part in the festival and showcase his movie which is about the intergenerational trauma suffered by Jews in the wake of the holocaust, a topic that certainly hasn’t been discussed enough in the past 8 decades.
The climate in western countries has definitely changed since the Hamas attack on Israeli citizens in early October. Much has been made about the detrimental influence of settler colonialism in Gaza and the glut of animus from pro-Palestinian groups in the west is being directed towards Jews who are assumed to be colonizers or beneficiaries of colonialism. The oppressor/oppressed dichotomy has been a staple of western academia for a long time, but it has become espescially pronounced within the last decade when an increasingly less White student body needed to find a target to blame for their alleged disenfranchisement. Gee whiz, I wonder who gave them that idea?
Baddiel continues in the article to state that:
Now if you’re even dimly racially aware you know the discourse surrounding which groups are privileged or not revolves primarily around Whites and solely punishing them for the all the evils wrought upon brown people by the alleged White supremacist hetero patriarchal whatever. If you’re on the right politically, chances are you’re also aware of the genesis of these ideas and what the aims of such discourse are. An issue occurs when you assign the blame to a group who brown people typically don’t differentiate your own group from.
Brown people find themselves thinking…Why should Jews be exempt from the racial justice we seek to inflict on Whites aren’t they white themselves? Haven’t we been taught by that pale skinned people all have structural advantages over non-whites? Why should this group of people, who demonstrably have more privilege than us, not be associated with racism/colonialism/land theft etc.? This is espescially pertinent in the time following Israels assault on the Gaza strip and the Palestinian families who live there.
Colonization is still a serious issue in modern times, or so I’ve been told by he/hims on Twitter, and the overrepresentation of Whites as founding figures, academics, leaders, and innovators in the west is an extension of that. We all know that what made Europe and America stand out throughout history was actually the myriad of achievements from brown folx, or so I’ve been told by he/hims on Twitter. In any case young brown kids, whether they be kindergartners or college students, feel threatened whenever they walk into a building and that it’s named after a White or Jewish person and may have pictures and literature related to White and Jewish people on display and we as a multicultural society can’t have that.
Don’t you want to be diverse? Don’t you want to continue to try and give a leg up to a population that has never been able to build or maintain a functioning society despite all the handouts you’ve given them over the past century? Well that starts with assuming responsibility for the actions your group has taken to disenfranchise them being okay with having your people and their achievements removed from history.
Oh, you don’t like that? You don’t like seeing hordes of swarthy people burn down what you’ve built in the name of justice? Well you shouldn’t have been a colonizer in the first place! We all know that the groups that are oppressed today can only be freed by disenfranchising powerful groups, but you told them specifically not to go after your group didn’t you? Didn’t you fund all those immigrant relief groups? Did you make the abolishment of whiteness the core tenet of your ideology? Didn’t you intimidate people into believing in the merits of diversity so much that even greiving White parents couldn’t mourn their children without countersignaling racism? You’d think these backward savages-I mean oppressed bodies of color would appreciate your efforts, but nope, you get screamed at like everyone else they assume is a privileged colonizer.
And that brings us to the topic of Israel, and yes the question remains how can one middle eastern country enforce it’s borders, elect leaders that enforce nationalist policies, and maintain ethnic homogeneity while the west is told they’re powerless to stop the flow of migrants and corruption on part of it’s elected officials? Did they think maintaining an apartheid ethnostate for this long wouldn’t come with any consequences?
Israel has many lobbying groups in the US, notably AIPAC who maintains a presence at the RNC and makes sure that talking points related to the continued functionality of the country are on the teleprompters GOP candidates like Nikki Haley read at debates. There are also plenty of right wing Jewish influencers like Tommy Robinson (aka Stephen Christopher Yaxley-Lennon) to act as a hedge between Israeli interests and the increasingly present White right winger animus directed at Jews. Lennon and his paymasters make sure that any young White guy who is starting to make connections between the current state of the west and who exactly is running the NGOs that bring in boats of migrants gets arrested at one of his glow op rallies while he conveniently disappears. And then there’s Ben Shapiro, the tempermental Zionist dwarf with a massive boomercon audience who is stoned faced when debating idiotic college leftists but gets emotional on his Rumble channel and claims the foundation of Judeo-Christian values involves restocking the Iron Dome. These people’s number one priority is trying to get this current generation of young activists on board with Israel and they are failing miserably.
It’s been debated as to whether or not Whites and Palestinians can share some common ground what with being hated minorities who are being actively displaced and demonized by a media with foreign loyalties. In my last piece I dismissed the notion of solidarity between the two groups as I felt that pro-Palestinian groups still held too much resentment towards Whites and could neither identify specifically with White disenfranchisement nor investigate the origins of anti-White animus in the west even though their families are being actively killed by the same people in Gaza currently.
And it should go without saying that Whites should have any sympathies for the other group in the current Palestine/Israel situation either. This is the society they’ve built for themselves. One where Whites are guilted over past wrongs they have no responsibility over. One that excuses crime from non-whites but punishes Whites for complaining about it. One that bars Whites from organizing for their own interests and what’s more tells them they have no interests, nor culture, nor achievements, nor the right to exist. They were the ones to introduce victim hierarchy and the progressive stack to atomized brown people and now those same people look at Jews trying to shoehorn their own ethnic struggle into theirs and resist it with all their might. And rightfully so.
So what comes next? Even before this latest middle eastern conflict it was apparent that our favorite cliques influence over western institutions was fading due to the ever growing presence of bereaved brown strivers occupying board rooms across America. People who seek to only empower their own groups and enact policies and sets of rules to make sure the achieve that goal above all else. So what if it damages meritocracy? That’s a racist concept anyway! So what’s the next move? I mean is there a way you can recover from creating a generation of people who feel only their own victimization matters? And what’s more, doesn’t agree with you that your safety should supercede the well being of who you yourselves defined as oppressed. I don’t really have the answer, maybe they can put more pixelated holocaust museums in videogames.
